Melvyn Danes and Susan Owen started trading in January 1990 as an estate agent in Shirley. Their combined experience in estate agency and knowledge of local property market were soon appreciated in the difficult housing market that prevailed at the time.
The practise grew and in 1994 Patrick Waters BSc, FRICS joined the company to take over the Lettings Department and bring professional surveys, valuations and property management to the fore.
The company expanded by opening in the High Street, Solihull, where once again the name was rapidly accepted and prospered.
Throughout the years, we have maintained our total independence from the financial services world with its emphasis on selling mortgages and insurance rather than property. Our independence has allowed us to concentrate totally on providing a professional and personal service to property owners or their representatives.
Following the untimely passing of Susan Owen in 2006, Adam Marshall took over Sue’s director role at our Shirley office. Adam had worked alongside Sue since 2002 and has since maintained the reputation for quality service and professional advice long established by Sue and the team at Shirley.
We are the only local company who genuinely offer a 100% viewing service of properties seven days and five evenings a week and we take a personal and lasting interest in CARING FOR OUR CLIENTS AND THEIR PROPERTIES.
